Who am I?
There is a specific kind of silence that only exists deep within the boundaries of a National Park—a stillness that feels less like an absence of sound and more like a presence of history. My work is born from that silence. While many approach nature with the intent to "conquer" a view or check a famous landmark off a list, I find myself drawn to the rhythm of the land itself. Whether it’s the jagged defiance of the Tetons or the ancient, mist-draped cathedrals of the Redwoods, my photography is an attempt to translate the scale of the American wilderness into a language of intimacy and awe.
For me, the camera is not just a tool for documentation; it is a reason to linger. It is the catalyst that keeps me standing in the freezing pre-dawn air of the high desert or trekking miles past the crowded overlooks to find a perspective that feels entirely new. I believe that nature isn’t something we just visit; it’s a mirror that reflects our own need for perspective and peace. Through these images, I invite you to step away from the noise of the modern world and rediscover the raw, unpolished beauty of our protected lands—one frame, one breath, and one horizon at a time.
